For many years Comtec has been supporting the motorsport industry with automotive translations for well known manufacturers and suppliers. This year we are delighted to announce our sponsorship and attendance at the RACE TECH World Motorsport Symposium.
This two day event – 30th November and 1st December – will be held at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in London, and promises an exciting programme of speakers and panellists from across motorsport.
The symposium brings together key motorsport influencers and decision makers to discuss, debate and explore the challenges affecting the industry. Described as the ‘Davos of Motorsport Engineering’, this year’s symposium will look at the future impact of a ban on diesel and petrol vehicles, and the role that aerodynamicists have to play in making motor racing more exciting for spectators, regulators and promoters.
The World Motorsport Symposium is a great opportunity to find out what experts are thinking, and understand in more detail the factors impacting the industry. As a translation partner for our clients in the sector, our aim at Comtec is to align our automotive translation services with these trends, enabling our clients to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities presented by a global marketplace.
As sponsors of this year’s World Motorsport Symposium we are able to offer our clients a discount on tickets. By using the discount code ‘comtec’, our clients can save £100 on tickets; normally a delegates’ pass for both days is £595 + VAT, or £695 + VAT if including the Networking Awards Dinner at Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington. Click here to book.
As well as the venue for the awards evening, the event organisers also recommend staying in the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, which is convenient for the symposium venue. They have secured a discount on room rates (first come, first served). Details about hotel bookings, transport to the event, and other essential information can be found here.
If you plan to attend the World Motorsport Symposium and would like to meet up, please let me know. I will be available throughout the two days for meetings or for a quick chat to say ‘hello’.
