How it works

Machine translation is the process of using AI to automatically translate text from one language to another.

It works by analysing vast amounts of multilingual data and breaking down sentences into smaller components. It then finds and replaces this content with new words and phrases in your target language.

Our model will be trained on your resources, such as your brand tone of voice so that it has as much context as possible.

Quality assurance

We've built our reputation for the quality of our work, and we've spent years fine tuning our approach to ensure that our AI-translated content meets our stringent linguistic standards.

Our machine-translated content can be used on its own, but we always highly recommend post-editing by a highly-skilled human linguist. This is to check for mistranslations, typos, and spelling and grammar mistakes. Our post-editors are specifically chosen for each project based on their experience and background.

Depending on your budget, you can have more human involvement - a second proofreader, for example, to polish the style and bring the text more towards human levels of quality.

What content works for machine translation?

Machine translation is particularly well-suited for text where the emphasis is on the core meaning, rather than preserving stylistic nuances.

Some examples include:
  • Technical documentation
  • User reviews and feedback
  • E-commerce product descriptions
  • Informative articles
  • FAQs
  • Financial reports
