How do you use translations to engage a global workforce?
Nomad Foods is Europe’s leading frozen food company. It’s portfolio of brands, such as Birds Eye, have been serving local European markets for generations.
Engaging with their European workforce in all languages
Nomad Food’s Corporate Affairs team produce a monthly newsletter for its global workforce. We were asked to help translate and localise this publication into their six core languages.
Hand-picking the right linguists for the job
In order to pull together our expert team, we spent time getting to the core of Nomad’s brand. We took the time to understand the company’s history, values, key messages and ways of working. Armed with this information we could now select the best linguistic team for the job and brief them in.
Working with other partners to streamline the process
As well as working with the internal Nomad team, we also work directly with their external marketing and design agencies. We quickly established an effective workflow across agencies. This rapport ensured that we could streamline the process of creating the content and make sure it was fully localised for each market, hitting our monthly deadline across all markets every month without fail.

“Comtec really understand what we want and have taken the time to learn about our company culture and employer brand so they’re able to get the job done with very little input from us. We trust the Comtec team implicitly to handle the translation of our content and deliver the right message every time.”
