What is the difference between Pronto Lite and Pronto?

Pronto Lite is the standard way to use Pronto. It gives you fast, self-service translation across all available languages, with no brand-specific setup required. It’s ideal for general or lower-risk content and lets you get started straight away.

All Pronto plans include access to Pronto Lite for all supported languages.

When you need more control for certain languages, you can add customisation on a language-by-language basis. For customised languages, our linguists configure terminology, tone of voice and market rules using expert-led machine translation with automated post-editing (MTAP). These languages involve a one-off setup and are charged at a slightly higher per-word rate.

This means you can use Pronto Lite where speed is the priority, and apply customisation only where it adds value.

What is the difference between Pronto and Pronto Pro?

Both Pronto and Pronto Pro provide instant access to fast, high-quality AI translation across our full 30-language offering. The key difference lies in the level of customisation. Pronto (Standard) is trained at a general language level, delivering accurate and high-speed results, making it ideal for high-volume, general content, or as a cost-effective alternative to raw machine translation.

Pronto Pro, however, adds granular customisation in up to five languages of your choice. This means we configure the AI to your specific brand, applying tailored terminology, tone of voice, and workflows to ensure maximum consistency in your key markets. While you can still use the standard Pronto for the remaining languages, the advanced customisation of the Pro tier only applies to your 5 chosen languages.

Do you keep my document layout and tags?

Yes. Pronto is engineered to retain formatting and tags, so exported files drop straight into your workflow without rework.
